TOKAN Foundation. Making the mission clearer.
I redesigned TOKAN Foundation's existing WordPress website. The work centres on how an established organisation presents its mission, programmes and opportunities to support children and young people.

TOKAN Foundation supports children and young people through educational, financial and social support. This was a redesign of an existing WordPress website, with an organisation, programmes and a body of content already in place.
Reading the earlier website
The earlier homepage brought together the foundation's introduction, mission, service areas, impact figures and testimonials. The archived capture shows dense text, repeated brown panels and several competing visual treatments. The content already carried the organisation's story; its presentation offered an opportunity for a more deliberate reading order.
My contribution
I completed the website redesign within WordPress. The responsibility was to reconsider the visitor-facing experience of an existing site: how the foundation introduces itself, how its work is presented and how people find routes to learn more or offer support.
The strategic question
How does a visitor move from understanding the cause to understanding their own next step? For a foundation, that means connecting its mission with the work it does and the ways people can get involved. The redesign can be read through that sequence: context, understanding and participation.
The value of continuity
An established website holds more than pages. It carries an organisation's history, public identity and existing content. Working within WordPress connects the new presentation with the system already supporting that presence, while giving the organisation a renewed place to tell its story.
Reviewing the result
The live website is linked here alongside an archived view of the earlier homepage. Together, they provide a way to examine the visual change. A further review would look at whether visitors can locate programmes, understand support options and reach the right contact point.
